heads up!

As I round the corner on my 3 month birthday, my colic is improving! I'm smiling a lot and even trying out my speaking voice, although all I can get out is "ooh" and "aah". Mom & Dad are so happy that I'm not crying for hours on end anymore! And I'm happy because I can hold my head up a little and check out whats going on around me: like when Gidget and the kitties walk by! They're pretty neat!

growth update

I went to the doctor today for my checkup and I weighed in at 10lb 9oz and I am now 22 3/4 inches long!

Lately I've been spending a lot of time helping my dad study for his GRE and helping him get his application in to the UW school of Architecture.

I spent my first Christmas sleeping most of the day while my mom, dad and aunt Nadene watched movies and ate my dad's own homemade smokin' hot chili. I got several very nice gifts including some collectible coins, a teddy bear, some clothes and picture frames. I can't wait for next Christmas when I might be able to open my own presents!

My face is usually in a frown these days. I can't seem to get over my colic and my mom and dad just can't do anything right for me! They seem to be trying, but its so hard to be a baby! I am getting better at sleeping at night though, only waking up once to eat.
