Little Miss Onery, now that she's moving she can't stay out of trouble. These days Sam cruises around the house hanging onto the walls and so Dad had to baby-proof the kitchen last weekend since we don't have any doors on the cabinets yet. Her favorite place to go is to her bedroom where she pulls all her books off the shelf so they are in a big pile all around her and she will sit and read for half an hour sometimes. Such a smart girl!

Mobile!

Since returning home from our trip, Sam has discovered crawling. She had been pulling herself along the floor by her arms for about a month prior but it wasn't until Sept 27 did she figure out how to get up on her knees and speed around. She also said her first word: ball. We're pretty sure it won't be long before she's walking since she holds onto anything and everything (chairs, walls) and cruises around the house.

My trip to Wyoming

We went on a road trip to Wyoming in early September to visit extended family Samantha hadn't met yet. She shared the back seat with Gidget and did pretty well during the two-day journey. Unfortunately, Sam caught a stomach bug during our visit and was really sick all the way home. I won't go into details, but it was not pretty in the car for the drive home!

Cousin Reece on his John Deere. Sam was pretty freaked out by Reece at first because he's so energetic, but she decided he was ok by day 2.
